Yeah, gotta pay for the upgrade to get the full version but the one included with Producer is pretty useable IMO. The upgrade to the full version is well worth it though if you are guit player. I think the confusion comes in when you see the TH2 Pro or TH2 Producer monikers. Makes it sound like it's the full version but it isn't. If you are going to upgrade keep an eye out for the upgrade discounts. I got mine for $99 and now I can upgrade/crossgrade to MarkII and the Breverb stuff for a decent price if I could ever scrounge some dough.

It's not about flames. Studio is actually the best bundle out of the three. Essentials doesn't come with the Prochannel stuff nor any of the other goodies and Producer really only has a few (but nice) extras.

It just doesn't make a lot of sense to state Studio is poorly bundled and not qualify the statement. Seriously I've been mulling over whether to comment on that assertion or not because I really didn't want to dick out on you so it's not about trying to flame or get all fanbois. A bunch of Producer users decided to go with Studio this time because of how well featured it is. I was considering it myself. What this has to do with TH2 is beyond me though. It's a much nicer sim than GR4 Sonar was. I have full version of TH2?

Why, because I liked the cut down version and wanted more. That's how it works.I still often use the default presets that would have come in the cutdown version, pretty darn good value for money.

I mean I do like the full TH2 and I'm glad I got but if I wasn't a total guitar freak I certainly wouldn't need it and as I said I was able to get my tones out of the base version. As far as the PC stuff in Studio being incomplete they are the exact same modules you'd get with Producer minus the new Tape Sim and perhaps one other thing I'm not remembering. They are full versions and quite good. I can't comment on Melodyne yet as I haven't used it but my impression is it was merely meant to replace V-Vocal as a pitch correcting which it does and from the sounds of things much better AND does all sorts of other cool stuff. The full version of Melodyne costs almost as much as X3 Studio itself.

TH2 is pretty darned pricey too. I was extremely happy that I was able to use the included version to snag it for $99. Wish I had known about all that before I dropped my cash on the GR5 upgrade because I rarely touch it anymore.
