Synopsis: It’s the 1980s, and it’s the moment that Lloyd Christmas and Harry Dunne meet. The two individuals are seen by many as ‘special’, and become best friends as soon as they meet. Principal Collins and his lover, the lunch lady Ms. Heller, want to make as much money out of scams, and their next idea is to create a special needs class. Ms. Heller is the teacher, and they have assigned Harry and Lloyd to round the special students up. Parents need to know that Dumb and Dumber To dishes out the same kind of crude, silly, slapstick hijinks as the original, with much of the mayhem aimed at the same adolescent fans. Many of the jokes are intentionally over the top and deal with sex (kissing, references to sex acts, characters about to have sex, the implication that Lloyd is inadvertently pleasuring an elderly woman with his hand, etc.), scatological activities, drugs (a supporting character is shown cooking meth), and more. Expect some swearing ('s-t,' '-a-hole,' 'f-k'), social drinking, and race-based humor. There's also lots of slapstick humor/violence played for laughs, including a character getting hit by a train and someone getting shot (with some blood). All of that said, Lloyd and Harry are loyal friends who always have each other's back.Families can talk about why the main characters' antics are funny on film but inappropriate in real life.

What would happen if people really acted the way Lloyd and Harry do? Why is comedy based on things that aren't realistic funny?.Hollywood seems enamored with sequels. How does this one fare compared to the original?.Though there's no nudity in Dumb and Dumber To, there's lots of sexual innuendo, particularly when Harry and Lloyd meet women.
